With all the challenges 2020 has presented our world, we have found what seems an unusual amount of grace with our program. With all the things that could have gone wrong, it seems we have been spared so far. Yet, there is a keen sense of urgency and vigilance to continue on our path, not only for the success of the men presently served by The Way Home but for those who will need a program like ours in the (likely very near) future.
With that, our work certainly does not come without challenges. I am beyond proud of the work our Executive Director, Paul Clements, has done to support The Way Home's men and keep them successful. It is no small feat to see seven men out of homelessness for nearly a full year (so far). And our Board continues to strive together to see the organization's success, even as we face our own individual challenges amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
This update will remain short - we're grateful for the support we receive from our community through prayer, donations, and simple words of encouragement. Thank you for your commitment to our little organization, and always feel free to reach out with questions.
